Before and After

2013

Before: Left un-attended for years, this garden was over-run with weeds. After: Cleaned up and edged, the flowering shrubs now have a chance to return to their former glory!
Before: The area surrounding this newly constructed garage was left with dirt and sub-soil. After: We installed sod (instant grass) and a short dry stacked rock wall. We added compost, soil, beautiful plants and topped it off with a layer of mulch!
Before: Same garage and yard space. After: Same thing around back with an added stone path.
Before: Grass, weeds and invasive plants. After: Now, weed mat and mulch create a palette for future plants which is clean and easy to maintan.
Before: A newly installed patio. After: We added the finishing touch!
Before: Grass weeds and pot holes is the first thing people see. After: Now the first thing people see is mulch, stones and beautiful plants!
Gravel, decorative stone, and mulch add the finishing touches.

A perfect garden adds the perfect finishing touch!
This is a perennial garden when it was first planted. Notice the room allowed for growth and the annuals used as accents. We were careful with drainage and the electrical system in this particular space.

Before: A beautiful rock wall was overgrown and covered with day lillies. After: Not only can you see the wall but this client reclaimed their beach space

Another newly planted perennial garden. Note the shrubs at the edges, which have plenty of room to grow.

One of my FAVORITE plants: Bee Balm (Monarda). This unique and beautiful flower spreads quickly is low maintance, attracts butterflies and distracts deer. A perfect combination!
